## and ** stay where you put them, in a lighter ink.- Book paper. Warm page, ink, a serif for headings. Dark is cream on ink.
- Three themes. Divan, Sedef, Mermer — paper, pearl, marble. Each in light and dark.
- Live preview. Markers tuck away as the caret leaves and come back when you edit. Not a second pane.
- Folder panel.
⌘Jlists the Markdown beside what you are writing — still one file at a time, this is just how you reach the next one. Read-only: it never renames or deletes anything. - Writing Tools. Proofread, rewrite, summarize. Apple's, from Edit.
- No telemetry. No analytics, no crash reporting, no accounts. What you write never leaves your Mac. The one thing Divan can be asked to do over the network is ask GitHub whether a newer version exists — off until you turn it on, and it never installs anything.
- Tables. GFM pipes on disk. Lined up on the page.
- Callouts.
> [!note]and> [!warning]— still a blockquote. - Decisions.
**Decision:**and the rest of the line is the call. - Image drop. Saved files take a drop into
./assets/. Unsaved files ask you to save first. - Your measure. Mono, serif or sans, and a column you drag to whatever width reads best.
- Export. HTML that carries the same type and colour, and PDF through Print.
